The main objective is to provide support to members. Nobody joins a cooperative society to earn profit. People come forward as a group, pool their individual resources, utilise them in the best possible manner, and derive some common benefit out of it.

  • Housing Cooperatives Society.

Documents Required for Co-operative Society Registration:

Minimum number of individuals to form Cooperative Society is 50 and various activities involved would be as follows:

  1. The details of the members:
    1. Name/Occupation/Address/Age/Designation
    2. Contact Information
  2. Address proof of the members:
    1. Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport
  3. Electricity Bill or a House tax receipt in order to show that you are the in fact the owner of the property along with owner id.
  4. NOC


Step-1 : Drafting of Application

Drafting of Application for approval of the proposal for the registration of society and the model scheme.

Step-2 : Drafting of Resolution

Drafting of resolution of the promoter members for appointing chief promoter and Drafting of affidavit by the chief promoter.

Step-3 : Filing of application

Filing of application with the Registrar.

Step-4 : Follow up

Follow up for approval with the registrar.

Step-5 : PAN, TAN And Bank Account

The final step in the process of registration is to apply for allocation of PAN number and TAN and afterwards apply for a bank account.
